Law of Attraction: Using Affirmations to Make It So
Are you succeeding with the law of attraction? If you’re not attracting exactly what you want, consider using affirmations. They will turbo-charge your powers of attraction.
Firstly, let’s discuss what affirmations are. Basically, they’re positive statements which affirm a goal you have. If you want to lose weight for example, you could create affirmations like:
* I am now at my goal weight; I feel confident, and full of energy;
* I am healthy and fit. I am achieving my weight loss goals.
You know that when you use the law of attraction, you’re using energy. What you focus on is drawn to you. Using affirmations reminds you of what you want to attract to you, using the law of attraction. When you use affirmations in the right way, the you achieve what you want quickly.
Why Isn’t It Working?
Perhaps you’ve used affirmations in the past, and they didn’t work. This is usually because although you said the affirmation, or wrote it down, you didn’t FEEL it on a deep level. Rather than expecting to succeed, you expected to fail, or spent time telling yourself that your affirmation wouldn’t work.
Pick One Thing You Want to Attract
Now you know about the law of attraction, you’ll understand how to use affirmations: you have to get into the feelings of already having whatever it is that you’re affirming.
Spend some time thinking about achieving your goals, and pick just one thing you want to attract. You can work on several goals later, but while you’re practicing, just choose one thing, and imagine how you’ll feel when you’ve achieved that goal.
If you’ve chosen a weight loss goals for example, think about walking into a shop, and buying a new outfit, a couple of sizes smaller than you are now.
How would you feel? Feel the feeling, and remember it.
While you’re remembering the feeling, create your affirmation.
Get the “Attraction Feeling” With Gratitude for What You Already Have
Sometimes you’ll try to feel the great feeling of achievement, but you just can’t achieve it. Here’s what to do: use gratitude for what you already have. Gratitude and thankfulness will prime the pump. You can use the feeling of gratitude as a stepping stone to whatever feel-good feelings you want.
In our weight loss example, feel gratitude for your health, and the health of your family. Make a list of what you’re grateful for. Then, imagine having lost the weight you want to lose.
Create Three Feel-Good Affirmations
Once you can feel the feelings of success, creating affirmations becomes much easier. Create three affirmations which get you feeling the way you want to feel. The feeling is the energy which will super-charge the law of attraction.
